Sponge Day Industrial and Manufacturing Company
Sponge Day Industrial Manufacturing Company has been registered under No. 14670 in Ardabil province on September 7, 2019 (1398/06/16). This company has started its activity in the field of production and distribution of polyurethane foam block and cold foam. By managers’ targeting and private sector investment and without receiving any loans or credits from banks and financial institutions, the equipment was purchased with the most advanced European technology. The lines of foam block (rubber and sponge production) and cold foam were launched with a capital of two million euros and five hundred thousand euros, respectively. This unit has been set up in an area of 2800 square meters in Ardabil industrial city.
In the first phase of the project, 100 local and non-local workers have been employed directly and indirectly. This number will definitely increase to 250 people with the launch of foam block equipment as well as the use of all cold foam molds (150 molds).
This company hopes to complete the project and produce at least 100,000 pieces of cold foam annually and block dimensions of 6 * 1.5 * 2 meters of foam block and this way it will be able to export to neighboring provinces in addition to meeting the needs of Ardabil province. Therefore, a step has been taken towards the easy access of furniture craftsmen to their required foams in different sizes and with high quality.
